I like Christmas, but to be honest I can't wait for all this hustle to be over. As a part time Customer Service Advisor in retail, its depressing to listen to the same Xmas songs everyday and watch happy people buy gifts for their love ones. It makes me wonder if someone is also stressing in finding a gift for me. Lol!!
Gud Morning Beauties!! I pray and hope you feel blessed to be alive this morning. I know Monday is not our best friend, but if we look at it with a different mindset, we'll feel better and the day will fly by like a wind. So how was your weekend?
I didn't know my love for pencil skirts, until I rummaged through my closet few days ago. It was quite shocking, because this is a girl who used to be an all-time tomboy. While I rarely wore feminine ensemble like pencil skirts, I secretly admired females who confidently rocked it.
Last night, all road led to the 2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show which was held in London. - Models hit the runway with performances from Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Ed Sheeran.
Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima flaunted their assets in the $2million Dream Angels Fantasy Bras. The dazzling bras which were made by Mouawad jewelers contained 16,000 rubies, diamonds, sapphires and were threaded together with 18 karat gold. The whole design took 1,380 hours to complete. Wow!
Are you one of those people who dress depending on their mood sometimes?...Yes? Well not to worry, cos I am too (Lol!). I don't know if that feeling comes from the side of the bed one sleeps the night before. - Personally speaking, I always sleep on the same side, so maybe there's a divine force somewhere that initiates it.
If you're reading this, then I give thanks to God for giving you and I another chance. A chance to be a better us - a chance to chase that dream - a chance to correct that mistake - a chance to not bother about what tomorrow might bring, because the God who has given us this chance has everything under control, so far as we trust and abide in Him.
I've been bringing y'all some variety of posts, but today...I'm back with my funny self. - What? Y'all told me I was! Lol!
Anywhos, what's good at your neck of the woods? I'm out here freezing like its no one's business. Lol! I know I should be used to this weather seeing that I've been in Europe for over ten years, but somehow it still gets me.

Super model, Oluchi Orlandi graces the Oct/Nov. cover of Forbes Africa. The mother of two looks radiantly beautiful in a red two-piece suit by Mai Atafo. Oluchi is the host and one of the judges of African's Next Top Model.
African print (aka. #Ankara) has been there since our forefathers, but now..we can say it has made its international debut. It is basically everywhere including fashion-week runways. Everyone has put their take on it, style-wise. We can say, it's versatile.
I was nominated by the big sister in my head, Nerline of ChicFromHair2Toe to receive the 'Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award'. This post is long overdue - it escaped my mind. I apologize sis. Thank you muchas muchas - Love you like fat boy love cake! Lol!
Make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature] to [gratify its] desires (lusts)
Food addiction is easy, because food doesn't come with the same stigmas as cigarettes or drugs. Unlike these vices, food has a legitimate—even essential—role in health. Only when it slips into overuse does it become a problem. But it's so easy to get to that point!
At this point, we can all agree that Autumn has began. - well except for my Africans/anywhere there's no cold season - lol! As the weather changes, so does our wardrobe - but don't get it twisted, there're some summer ensemble which can be worn during the cold season. I call them 'Carry-Overs'. The obvious tip here is to layer up just as Zara's Lookbook is portraying.
Fun is what came to mind when I saw Nigerian designer, Lisa Folawiyo's SS15 eponymous collection. The collection features strong mix of prints, pleats, layering, colours and asymmetric hemlines. - Every piece is a statement.
Gone are the days when curtains used to be just plain boring and with no style whatsoever! They were just materials used to cover windows to remind the outsider to mind their own business. The era has changed and so have curtains.
Ladies and Gentlemen, enter the world of BEDDINGINN.
The fashionista series has been gone for a minute, but its back and this time with some men touch.
Today's feature is Pius and we initially met on Facebook. I accepted his friend request when I realized on his bio that he's from my hometown. - So after some few chats, it turned out that he actually knew my family back home and he's scared of my father. Lol! I think the structure of my dad freaks him out.
I had the opportunity of meeting him in person when I went on the summer holiday in Ghana.
Just a quick post to share with you this ootd. It was love at first sight when this blouse caught my eye. The pattern is very bold, I love the colours and its so feminine/versatile. It's a bit on the bigger side, so I added the belt to cinch and accentuate my waist. The skirt was a perfect combination - it made the blouse stand out.
Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.
For years, I have pondered what being “more than a conqueror” means. I’m sure other people have other perspectives, but I have come to the conclusion that being more than a conqueror means having such confidence that no matter what comes up in your life, you know that through Christ you can handle it. You know before you are ever faced with a problem that you’re going to have victory over it. So therefore, you don’t dread things, you don’t fear the unknown, you don’t live in anxiety about what’s going to happen in uncertain situations.
Isn't it funny how sometimes as human beings we wait for symptoms to show up before we do something about situations? Truth is, half of the time we're aware ish is bound to happen in certain circumstances or conditions, but STILL choose to ignore the signs/feelings. Sometimes, the aura surrounding an episode you're about to live can even smell foul, but AGAIN we fail to hit the stop button! We like to hold on till ish hit the fan.
Don't you just love how shift dresses are so easy to style and comfortable? I find them super sexy when they come a bit above the knee/voluminous. Taking in note that your definition of sexy might be different from mine, but that's ok - it's called opinion I suppose. Lol!
