OOTD: CINCH THAT WAIST...

Happy Wednesday (#wcw) beauties!
Shout out to all the ladies out there. You're beautiful and more than a conqueror.
If you're on Instagram, lets link up. Missymayification is the name. Let me know if you follow and I'll definitely follow back.
Do you remember this dress here? I thought I get another wear out of it by styling it differently this time. As you can tell from the title of this post, I added a belt to tone down the comfort which brought a little hourglass sexiness.
How fabulous is the shoes though?
I can't believe it has been sitting in a box for ages. This is why sometimes it is bad to have too much things, because you tend to forget about others.
Hope your week is going well.
Wha ya say?
Love to hear from your thoughts.

BLAZING THE COLD WITH THE BLAZERS...

Today marks the beginning of Autumn in the UK, but it surely feels like it's winter already. The weather is hella cold here and it doesn't help that it rains almost every day. This is the kind of weather that has 'Depression' written all over it. Ha!!
Like every season, I get rid of some old pieces in my closet and replace with new budget-friendly pieces that catches my eye. All my Fall/Winter essentials are ready and still filling. I was glad when Rosegal reached out to shine a light on their blazers HERE, because they're not only wardrobe essentials. - They're Fall/Winter perfect!
I am not going to bore you and preach about how to style blazers, because I know you're aware of how to style em. Having said that, if you haven't joined the blazer wagon, look no further. Visit this brand for versatility. No matter the style you're after, I'm sure you'll find something cool/chic and at a good price too. I can't stress enough about the quality of their clothes. -Definitely not Versace quality, but for the prices of their pieces, I can't fault them.

So kick start the cold season with some Autumn budget-friendly pieces from Rosegal. Oh their summer sales is still ongoing. In addition to 33% off, use code RGEN to get extra 10% off your purchase.
On another note, how cheesy is the title of this post.?
Are you ready for Autumn/Winter?
What can't you live without in these seasons (fashion-wise)?

OOTD: THE COMFORTABLE CASUAL AND REAL TALK...

Happy New Week, Beauties!
Hope Monday was or is good to you (depending on the time zone of where you reside). I woke up feeling quite energized and full of positivity which rarely happen on Mondays. I'm a work in progress, but of late I've been experiencing some inner peace that had eluded me for a long time. When it comes to happiness, we associate it as a destination in life. We feel like we need to achieve a goal, get that car, big house, marry, a luxury vacation and all the crazy ideas that pop up in our heads. - And this is a big mistake!
Why do we think that?
Why can't we enjoy the moments and the small achievements we accomplish each day?
Anyways I thank God and I'm glad I'm grasping little knowledges like this. When one has been through things in their life, little knowledges like that can escape em.
Can you relate?
"Also that everyone should  eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil-this is God's gift to man."
*Ecclesiastes 3:13*
Unto the outfit, this denim dress is one of my favourite. It's a great comfortable dress with a lovely detail. It can be dressed down or up which is a plus/factor when buying fashion. This Nasty Gal velvet sneaker is a recent purchase and I love it!
Have a blessed week Beauties!

OOTD: KANYE ATTITUDE WITH DRAKE FEELINGS...

Happy Monday Beauties!
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend and ready for another busy week. I spent my weekend with the girls celebrating one of our friend who will be getting married in few weeks and relaxing.
Continuing my wishlist collaboration with Zaful, I want to review this roll-sleeve text print tee I got from them. Dope is the right word to describe it. What a way to make a statement right!!?
The tee was in good condition when it arrived. There's absolutely nothing I can fault.
Keeping it effortlessly chic, I paired it with this Fashion Nova moto leggings which is all kinds of awesome. The heels is from JustFab which is an online subscription fashion retailer. Heard of them? I finished the look with the only black ladies bag I owe and my hat.
Share your thoughts...

Have a blessed week and don't forget that you're appreciated by me.

OOTD: HOW TO STYLE A CHECKERED SHIRT...

It can be called checkered, flannel, plaid or tartan print, but one thing is for sure, -this print has a statement feel to it. These type of shirts are so versatile and so effortless. Dressed up or down, there's a lot one can do with them.
Styling Tips
  • With Fall creeping in, you can style a checkered shirt by layering with a puffer or fur vest, cardigan and also some light coats.
  • It can be used as a layer up on top of a basic tee or dress.
  • It can be worn with different pants and skirts. You can choose to play it comfortable like mine or tuck it.
  • For a more classy and professional approach, it can be tucked into a good fitted pant or skirt. Layer with a nice tailored blazer and accessorize according to your liking.
  • It can be layered with a lovely sweater with the collar and sleeves out.
  • Last, but certainly not the least you can tie it around your waist or tie it in front to add a funky vibe to an outfit.

The styling options are endless if you ask me.
How do you style a checkered shirt?

Somewhere around last two weeks, I decided to change my hair a bit by getting some braids done. After five days of getting it, my scalp was so itchy that I had it removed. The itch was so terrible that I couldn't cope anymore. Such a shame because I spent fifty pounds to have these done (lol!). Maybe its about time I try wigs.
Ha!!

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend though. Wishing y'all a blessed week.
